Waste Converters asked us to upgrade its recycling facility by designing and constructing a large commercial building with undercover awnings that would double its capacity to repair and manufacture timber pallets and recover more recyclable materials. The concrete slab and foundations proved complex design because the site was an old landfill tip. We also gave careful consideration to the size and type of machinery that would operate within the confines of the building, as well as how to enhance access.
The new modern facility has totally transformed the well-established business, assisting its future growth and expansion. It features a sizeable enclosed and open undercover area, comfortable administration offices, a modern lunchroom and toilet and bathroom facilities.
