Knox Park Primary’s recently completed school library was located approximately 20m from its original main building. The Principal wanted a covered walkway from the library to the nearby locker bay to shelter students from the rain and wind.
It was a challenging project due to differing ground levels and the need to follow an existing concrete path that snaked around existing garden beds and very close to the teacher’s car parking area.
With powder-coated columns and reverse rolled roof cladding, the finished result blends perfectly with the library and provides both students and teachers excellent protection from Melbourne’s famously fickle weather.
